Owner/Founder - James Alvarado

From the time I've been able to walk I've always been fascinated with capturing images. My father was a freelance sports photographer, so growing up I had the privilege of attending most Oiler, Rockets and Astro games. My mother worked in a printing and publishing company as a proof reader. So I guess you could say it was kind of ingrained in me. Every Christmas and Birthday I couldn't wait to open either a new camera body or lens.

I started in the printing industry running a small press and within 5 years was the production manager for one of Houston's largest printing companies. Fast Forward to 2000, I started working for an Advertising Production Company in which I was assigned to oversee the photography requirements for one of the largest national grocery store chains in the country. It was there that I started with the love of the art of food and product photography. Directing shoots and spending time in the studio was just bound to happen at some point in my life's journey. When not in the studio, you can find me hiking around shooting with my dog Sydney by my side.
